Nissequogue River Canoe and Kayak Trip with UUFH

“STAR STRUCK:  Striking U and the UU!”

Our annual Services Auction, “Star Struck” was held on Saturday, November 17. We had a delicious dinner, organized by Carol T. and Peggy K., with desserts coordinated by Jackie K.  Judie G’s famous decorations made the Main Hall sparkle!  Our auctioneers Ken and Rich B-N spurred us on to bidding for the hundreds of exciting offerings and baskets, with super entertainment throughout the evening by Fellowship members.

The UU Ewes made a very special afghan for our services auction!

Numerous others helped with the many jobs involved in this, our largest fundraiser of the year.  And all of us were winners, by coming and joining in the festivities, and anticipating the various activities, goods and services to enjoy throughout the year.  It was a great evening!!!

We don’t yet know exactly how much we made at the Auction but we hope to cover the amount specified in this year’s operating budget.  Statements have been given out or sent in the mail to all winners and donors.   Please send in your checks right away!

Thanks so much to all of you who helped out with this year’s Services Auction! There are so very many of you, who not only worked on the evening’s preparation and activities, but who donated parties and goods and expertise.  And, without you all, the Auction would not have been such a successful event, for fundraising and fun!
