One fundraiser is a major source of significant income and might be considered a member’s responsibility: the annual Services Auction. It is a fun evening for all ages, including a dinner, raffles, and live auction, and includes offerings of parties and events all year long. Participation in the Services Auction helps guarantee an active social life and a financially-secure Fellowship. Those unable to buy or bid often have skills, baked goods or an event to offer. UUFH Leadership works hard to limit the requests for your money. That’s why there are policies in place about outside fundraisers and affiliations. There are only two sanctioned and important requests for your financial support for our Fellowship. In the spring, the Annual Canvass solicits your pledge for basic membership giving. In the fall, the Services Auction is held for special donations of time, talent and treasure. These two events provide nearly 90% of the Fellowship’s income. Your participation is important.
The Services Auction is THE annual social event at UUFH. Over dinner and laughs and time together, we get to know one another, fill our social calendars with party dates, enjoy bidding and raffles, plus purchase donated goods and services.
