Sunday, December 14 at 10:30 am
December is loud: carols, sales, group texts, old grief bumping into new plans. In all that noise, there are still small shocks of beauty and kindness that don’t fix anything but feel real. This service leans into those moments as a kind of practice: noticing what’s tender and good without looking away from what hurts. No forced cheer, just a bit more room for breath, honesty, and the kind of joy that doesn’t feel fake.
Solstice: Darkness & Light, Not Looking Away
Sunday, December 21 at 10:30 am
On this Solstice Sunday, we gather with the turning earth to honor the longest night and the slow return of the sun. Through simple earth-centered ritual, music, and reflection, we’ll make space to name what is heavy in our lives while also noticing the small, real lights that sustain us: kindness, courage, beauty, community. This service will be gently contemplative, warm, and grounded, inviting us to root ourselves in the season and in one another as we turn toward a new year.
Wednesday, December 24 at 5 pm
Our Christmas Eve service blends story, carols, and candlelight to make room for both stillness and joy in a restless world. We’ll revisit the old nativity stories with fresh eyes, asking what they might mean for people seeking peace, justice, and compassion today. The candlelighting will be at the heart of our time together, as we pass the flame from hand to hand and let its quiet glow remind us that hope is something we create together, not something we wait for alone.
